End of May Update
COMMUNICATIONS
I plan to provide about weekly updates and special announcements as needed, especially as we learn over the next week whether we’ll be campaigning for a primary in August, just the general election in November, or otherwise! Let me know if there's anything you'd like shared along with these updates.
CAMPAIGN KICKOFF
What a day! on May 3rd, we launched this campaign with incredible energy, and I couldn't be more grateful for everyone who attended and supported. We had strong turnout, fantastic conversations, and generous donations to fuel our path forward. Thank you to each and every person who made the afternoon so meaningful.
HONORING MEMORIAL DAY
I hope everyone had a safe and meaningful Memorial Day! For decades, my family has honored veterans in my hometown of Onaga, KS, by placing American flags at their graves—a tradition that we continued this year. Traveling back to Onaga last Friday to take part in this tradition was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by so many.
EXCITING NEWS
I'm honored to have been selected as a 2025 KC Business Journal NextGen Leader earlier in May--a recognition for rising talent in the business community. This program connects emerging leaders, strengthens their knowledge and skills, and celebrates those making an impact in their communities. I’m incredibly humbled by this recognition, and I look forward to sharing additional employment news in the coming weeks.
